Found out my diy battery hold down is still accumulating corrosion. Previously it was just clear anodized aluminum flat over the polycarb piece and was building up way more! So I painted with enamel and it's still not cutting it apparently. I guess time to go with something synthetic over the polycarbonate piece? Aluminum piece is really just there as a finisher and to provide some extra rigidity.

Haha I got the same letter. I planned on removing it too, but didn't feel like dealing with the aftermath of all the sticky shit. So I'm going to see if I can get the dealer to do it for me :D

Put my Antenna X 13in antenna on this morning, got my breaks changes and rotors turned and ordered the new all weather floor mats for her at the dealership (to the tune of $340), and going to change my air filter this afternoon. One of these days I need to shampoo my seats and get my Costco seat covers on.

edit: and courtesy of @boogie3478 I just ordered the Chinese A/C knobs. Now I need to get LEDs to go behind them since one of my bulbs is burned out.....:frusty:

Well if the stick-on scoop adds 15 horsepower, how much can you expect to gain from a bolt-on version?

Blower motor resistor incoming. Should be here tomorrow via Amazon ($30).

AC has been stuck on high/full blast for about a month or so. Since it's been so hot here in AZ (current temp out is 105˚), I haven't been in a hurry to fix it.
But it's over due so hopefully I don't turn a simple operation into a complex clusterfuck.

Also need to finish painting my goddamn bumper this weekend. I did the skid I've got over Labor Day but I wasn't too happy with it. Need to evaluate my technique and at the very least get some of those rattle can paint sprayer adapters. My right index fingertip was numb for about 3 days after 3 hours of painting... :(

Other than that, I need to stop spending so much on patches because the truck fund is feeling neglected lately.

I probably missed it but why did you put the foam in there? Just to keep dirt and junk out if you're wheeling?

Like I noted, I have a Pelfreybilt front bumper I'm going to be installing *soonish* and haven't even started any of the prep as of yet.
May take a stab at taking those pieces off tonight after work since I'm all caught up on Westworld, haha.

Yeah that empty cavity would have been filled with mud and dirt anyway and become a rust trap.

Yeah its just to fill the gap and clean it up. I didnt do that to mine and i do find small amounts of mud or sand in there when i get back from wheeling, it washes out easily though.

Has anyone removed their fender flares and covered the holes with bolts? If so, anyone have pictures of their 2nd gen with no fender flares?!
