Glad this "work day " is over We did get dam lucky being right on the Riva'. One large branch bounced of my front window,small dent in the roll outs but wow. Florida room has been cleaned up until I can get wet vac and time. Rubber maids caught hell though. Water must have dropped quickly because some got sideways and let water in We are thankful and Cons Lexus fired right up. No brac in the exhaust Now the waiting game for FPL. All customers will have POWA by 9-22

If you remove 1 of your criteria, namely "inexpensive" then SoCal within 5 miles of the coast is the place to be.
But, there is the aforementioned problem with the commies and hippies.(which is kinda silly to differentiate if you ask me, because Ive never seen a hippie that wasn't a commie. However, there are commies that aren't hippies, but, I am the one who brought the subject up originally, so I guess thats the way its gonna be, right @CVYota ?)
But, since your from Connecticut you are already plenty accustomed to sharing space with commies.

No, that would be NONE of the islands in Hawaii. Cost of living is high as hell, and Ive heard its pretty hard to get a job if you aren't a native.
We have had a lot of folks from around here give it a try. They all wind up back here.

 

It sure does. We all have some shit to contend with. Hurricanes, Wild fires, blizzards, tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, you get the idea.
