What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

In preparation for the upcoming rainy season here in the PNW, I added some WeatherTech mats.

 

Vac'd the interior and adjusted/reaimed the headlights

 

Those look great! A set of these or similar are up next on my "to-do-list"

 

Yeah they're the best mats I've ever had, by far. They're not rubber like most mats so those high edges have no chance of falling into the main mat area. Definitely worth the premium, and they were voted as best at The Wirecutter which is a site I trust.

sorry for the late reply. I drilled straight through the bed and bolted it down there. It's held well through plenty of trail miles.

 

Our rainy season is about to start here in Portland OR. We don't do a ton of miles since the Taco will be my wife's daily to/from work 15 minutes away, and my daily is an assortment of motorcycles (KLR650, Ural, Sportster). Weekends are a different story, of course. For what it's worth, I'll be sure to post an update telling how well these hold up to near-daily precipitation for 4-6 months.

 

So I got everything in today for the retrofit mod. but since I'm still lost and scared on what to do and everyone in my thread or posts gave up on me.or even trying to help me and just sending me to other threads that really did not help me at all! I'm just gonna wait till I just say fu*k it let me just fu*k up me head lights today

Battery died so got a new one. Also installed component speakers with a crossover and it sounds great!

 

You can get these at any big box hardware store. Bonus points when you ask for help finding the "ballcocks".

 

Changed the oil. 5.5 qts of RoPo 5w-30 and OEM filter. Right around 7500 miles. Oil looked ok. I don't think I'll stretch it to 10k miles like I was planning for peace of mind.

 

I've been posting here without pics and you guys deserve pics.
Over the past 4 weeks I've done the following:
Icon stage 1 lift
Light Racing UCA's
Replaced my rear blocks with Toytec progressive AAL
Upgraded my sway bar end links
Installed a BAKflip G2 tonneau
Spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers
K&N cold air intake
NFab nerf bars
Last night I broke down and ordered WetOkle seat covers .
Today I bought a new cluster face from BlackCat.
I also upgraded my temp control knobs....
Here's the pics so far, I'll update more when I have more to show!

 

Finally upgraded the oem bulbs to LEDs in the maps, dome, and tag light locations.

 

1/2 way towards being broken-in.

Retrofitted the new Icon delta joint in my worn out uniball billet aluminum arms and then had to break them in! Hoping these things last a while through the lovely northeast salt and off road abuse. Time will tell!
