    Is anyone going to be near South Bay (Torrance) or SGV Area this week? Looking to see if anyone can pick up a stock air intake assembly and make a run down to Temecula (in case you're headed that way) for another member.

    You can put them at the very front of the bed. Take the two bolts out, you need to dremel something on the bolt to get the washer to fit. There's a write up on TW somewhere for it, I'll find it tomorrow when I'm on a computer or search in the "cheap/free mods" sticky. Should be in there for extra bed drings.

    No worries. I am going to be in the Torrance area this weekend then head to Santiago trail on Saturday. Not sure if any one is coming up from the south to do the trail.
    I think Ryan @Shmellmopwho is going to try and install sliders this weekend and a few members from here are in line, just not to sure on who. @Ozzy_Wuz_Here might be one of them.

    Man, I would like to get out to Santiago, but GF and I have plans this Saturday down in OC area.
    Was at El Mirage for a bit this past weekend. Nice Balmy 92 degrees. Lots of tight small trails in addition to the regular trails. Didn't want to venture out too far since I was solo and unfamiliar with the terrain. I'll be going back. Maybe you can get a trip going out there? Unfortunately, it's not free anymore for last few years. It's $15/ vehicle to get in now, but its worth it. Lots of campsites too.

    Looking Northwest at the entire 6.5 mile long dry lake bed from the Little Shadow Mountains

    No, there's only dirt, dirt, and more dirt along with a dry lake bed. I think the nearest fishing spot is in Mount Baldy on the other side of the mountain range south of the dry lake bed.
