If any of you guys or anyone have those GMRS/FRS radios, bring those as well as I can show you guys how to communicate with those using your Baofeng 2-band radio on the 400MHz freq channels!!!:fistbump:

An example of what a GMRS/FRS radio looks like:

I wouldn't worry about a compressor. Most, if not all, don't mind lending a hand when needed. I have an air compressor, but the HF special. It actually works fairly well and is similar to my friend's "Slime Compressor Kit". I've used it a few times already as well. So it's proven itself so far.

Glad you can join man!!!:fistbump: The trail is NOT technical at all, but very fun and pretty scenic in some spots. I HOPE you and everyone else will have a good time. :fingerscrossed::thumbsup::fistbump:

Thank you Oscar. So glad I have it. I actually have some work to do on it and eventually down the line, sooner than later, change the belts and vacuum hoses as they are shredding and splitting along with a few minor maintenance work. My mobile CB has been acting up and I have narrowed it down to the RF cable... possibly have to just re-crimp my connector ends? Other than that, the truck runs very well!!!

Have fun in San G. I can actually go, but I was telling Nick (the Lovin) that if I was to go it would be very hectic for me to go for a few hours and then race back to my sister's place the same day/night. Yeah, quite a bit of thought was put into it.

LOL, I just make a comment about going up Santiago Peak in one of my posts and somehow I'm like some "expert", which "I" am surely NOT?! I've done the trail enough times to know that it is definitely 2wd safe, but it doesn't get rid of the fact that I'm "leader" and have a responsibility for the people following me!!! Personally, I'd rather "caboose" and let someone else have the reigns!!! LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::D:p I just hope and want people to have fun!!!:fistbump::cheers::bowdown::mudding:

    EDIT:
Hey Oscar, I'd rather TEACH/TALK to someone about radios instead of being "trail leader"!!!:fistbump: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

There's a camp ground near there, but I don't remember the name? I'll try to find out for you.
