I kinda see what you're saying but its still going to hit as hard as the rear. But theres really no good way to mount air bumps in the back because of how far down they would have to be extended from the frame. King does make a kit but its $500 for the kit alone.

We put my super bumps that I had got for the front of my tacoma on the back of my friends cruiser today and they felt really good actually. And I still don't know if its practical because i'd have to extend them so far down.

I am still a firm believer that hydro bumps are nowhere near 10x better than super bumps. I love these damn things and recommend them to everyone

you have to move either style of bumpstop that far so dont follow why a hydro still wouldnt be beneficial. but its also a crawler so either way will be fine im sure.

Yep. Leaves people stranded. Not too bad of a fix I've heard. Don't know for sure cuz I'm a poser with a pickup though.

Check out pirate and mud. Both have a bunch of info on it. Boxrocket would be a good source too.

Oh also this thing will be getting some new gears in the transfer case. Because there is no way to put an Atlas, crawl box etc.. in an 80 for many reasons the closest I can get is to putting Sumo gears in. Makes it from a 2.488:1 to a 3:1:1 ratio, about a 25% reduction. This will be happening mid november

Not much of an update for the cruiser, thinking about adding in a Currie rear sway bar but it might not be right away..
But went wheeling with some friends yesterday. 2nd obstacle at rieter. Was riding shotgun in the Andrew's land cruiser as our other friend was ahead, we hear him redlining it then SNAP, knew immediately he broke something. Come around the corner to find him like this

Dual cases, 5.38's, and supercharged he snapped the rear output shaft in the t case, broke the weld on the upper rear link on the passenger side, broke the t case mounts, and cracked the weld on the other upper rear link mount.

Pinched badly between that log and rock. With 2 winches hooked up to the log it still didnt budge so we had to cut it.

So then I took Cameron's truck and trailer to tow him home and missed a few trails. Came back to ride in Cameron's 2nd gen 4Runner on yellow line (basically a buggy only trail)
From earlier in the day. Fully trussed Dana 60, fully trussed 14 bolt rear, full hydro, welded doffs etc..

    Start of yellow line

Sold the Corbeau seats to my friend. They sit too high for my liking so I got his very rare stock cloth seats that are actually really comfortable.
Going to end up ordering these instead...

Wanted to take the cruiser out before the weather got shitty so went up to my favorite camp spots thats up a long forest service road. Can't actually wheel it yet :( And because people like pictures more than reading..

Turns out they opened up a part that has been closed for a few years. I have a video on my instagram story from the top (@brianeissmann)

I've noticed that you buy your tires from discount tire direct online. What is the advantage to doing this over just buying at the store? I'm assuming you still need to pay to have them mounted and balanced at your local discount tire?
