My ABS light came on yesterday, but the truck stopped fine and wasnt throwing a code on my scanguageII. Then today I drove to the gym, 10 miles one way, then came home. Got in my truck to go golfing and as I was driving down the driveway I noticed the sounds of the ABS kicking in while I was on the gas. Got onto the road and it did it while I was accelerating. I pushed on the brakes and it pulled right. So came back home and looked around and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary, like leaks or anything, and brake fluid was good. Went back into town and it made that noise when I first took off again but didnt anymore. Anyone run into this or have any ideas what to look at?

sounds like your ABS module is going bad. check under the hood and make sure all the hose connections are tight.

Try bleeding the brakes. Maybe air got into the system and is throwing off the system.

Alright, I will check those. I checked it when it happened and it seemed good, but I will double check. Thanks for the response.

I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
Before you start replacing sensors.... clean them first. If there is metal debris on the sensor it will send the fault like it is bad.
