Tomorrow I have a job interview with the city police dept to be a dispatcher! I'm super excited and super scared.

I did this interview two years ago when I had applied for the same position, but ended up moving. At least I know what it will be like. Just me.....in front of a long table of city council members, police chief, fire chief .

Anyway, I really hope I get it! Wish me luck!

I certainly hope I do good. I've been on the other end too (having to listen to the dispatchers I mean) but for firefighting and EMS. I've been sent to the wrong house and a bunch of other BS.

    Thanks!

I like our Dispatchers out of Red Deer. We had a good conversation with them this afternoon.

Me - Dispatch this is Rimbey Unit 3.

Dispatch - Rimbey Unit 3, go ahead.

Me - Dispatch, if you could be so kind as to mark this Unit at Red Deer Regional hospital please and thank you.

Dispatch - Rimbey Unit 3, I can be as kind as to do that for you.

Me - Thanks dispatch, it's service like this that keeps us coming back.

Dispatch - (Lots of laughter in the backround) Roger that Unit 3.

Good luck with your interview! Kick some ass, and if all else fails, show'em yur tits.

    Wait, what?

    246 central copies
    5 min pass
    246 central 10-xx at ________

    central 246 im 10-6 at _______

Just going out on a whim here, but I'm gonna say I think I like my Dispatch a wee bit better.
