    Fuckin Cali. Get this, I usually buy a parking sticker for my cars for Laguna Beach. I didn't this year (forgot). I go downtown to the PO and put money in the meter. 4 mins. for a quarter. 4 fucking minutes. Used to be 15 mins for a quarter. I am a cheap bastard, I know, but what the actual fuck.

    Out in Santa Monica or any of those surrounding cities are about the same. I was out in west LA one day for lunch, parked in a meter spot, put in about an hours worth, went to go eat. I had set an alarm to remind me when my time was almost up, as I'm walking to my truck with a few minutes to spare, as I got to my truck just as the meter expired, the meter guy was already writing up my ticket. Seems like he had to be waiting for my time to expire to write that ticket. I ended writing a letter to the city telling them my situation, and it got written off.

    Just wait until they initiate the toll for driving on popular city streets. It's coming in the near future. It's their plan to cut down on congestion. So we will have toll road freeways and city streets. :annoyed:

    Fuck that shit. The latest ploy is to tow no matter what. My neighbor (old man) forgot to pay his registration (like danny). He parks on the street as his garage is tiny. His registration was out by four days and his shit got towed. I had to drive him around (DMV, tow yard) to get his shit straight. He has been paying property taxes for 50 years and they pull this shit. The tow yard was near 400 bucks. He initially called the parking ticket lady and she showed up and was a total cunt. The old guy wasn't having it and his home camera caught it all on tape. Luckily he has the funds to fuck with them good. Since his wife passed last year he hasn't had much to do until now.
