Go with a Bersa instead. Lighter, better trigger, cheaper and just as sexy.

Winchester 62A. Light, accurate and reliable .22. Winchester quit making them in the late '50s or early '60s. A south American company (Rossi) made copies, but not quite equal in quality.

That's how I have been with all of my firearm purchases & accessories. Thanks for the insight, I usually take a few months of comparing and contrasting on my larger buys, I'll be sure to consider.

Dream gun would probably be something from Holland and Holland.

Royal Double Rifle, .700 Nitro Express etc. Their guns are all hand engraved, a lot of the work on them is done by hand, and some of them have close to 1000 hours of work in them. Some of the most beautiful guns in the world.

    IMG_4979.jpg

Oh yeah, and their elephant guns can shoot a .700 nitro shell. It's a 1000 grain bullet, one of the few shoulder fired weapons in the world, that can drop a charging elephant with a headshot through the front of the skull.

I think it's like $300 for a box of 5 of their .700 nitro shells.

They are super expensive though, I think the royal double rifles chambered in .700, are $250k or so. They make "normal" shotguns too, for 40-50k. Look them up on google, you can go to their website. Gorgeous guns. Also there's funny videos on you tube of people shooting .700 nitro, let's just say it kicks just a bit. :)

Funny to see people talking about the GP100. That was my first gun and it remains my favorite.

Thinking of a dream gun as being more than just a neat gun I'll buy on a whim someday, I'd have to say mine is the AR-18. A real one, not just the semiauto 180. Even if it's an old junky one I love the style of it, find the history fascinating, and hey... full auto is best auto. Now to save up $18k...
