    Never ending......$$$
So just pulled the trigger on a solar panel and controller for my second battery build. I guess this means I really gotta do it now.

Anyone want to help me install when I finally get all the parts together??? Also, everyone that helped with all the questions I had about adding a second battery, expect even more questions now....:anonymous:

re: solar system, ideally, put the solar charge controller as close to the battery as practical, as it regulates the voltage used to charge the battery, longer wires there will mean the battery will never see the full charge voltage. its fine to run the panels themselves out on a longer cord, especially if they are portable so you can put them in the sun when you're parked in the shade. even if the panels are roof mounted, if you can rig it so you can tilt them towards the sun and adjust the angle a few times a day, they will be far more efficient than if they are flat straight up.

It touched down on the south side of the lake. Legit tornado.

They should start naming hurricanes and weather anomalies after notable climate change deniers.
