It hangs a little too low in my opinion. The short nipple accomplishes the same thing.

I use one with a nipple and it's great. I can put a hose to it and never spill a single drop of oil. It really doesn't hang down any. The skid plate it there way before you'd ever get to the valve

Fumoto is definitely not needed. It is, however.. super convenient. I have had F103Ns on my Tacoma and my current 4Runner and they make oil changes a lot less messy.

Call me a baby, but if I can avoid oil on my arm and driveway then I'll do it. I put a piece of tubing on the nipple and run the draining oil straight into the container. Only time I get dirty is changing that damn filter.

Can't say I've ever seen a plastic switch on a ratchet.

But I use Craftsman, so.. :notsure:

The one you posted a pic of from HF has a plastic switch on the back. Can agree that those are shit.

    .. yeah, so!

I was just showing a set with a price idea. Strictly pictures, bros.

Personally I'd buy Craftsman 7 days a week. Only thing HF I own is a set of metric and standard ratcheting wrenches, and they're great.

I do want their Pittsburgh Pro impact sockets, though. They are legit. The standard Pittsburgh is shit.

Was just referencing that since you've said you've never seen one with a plastic switch :pout:

Craftsman or GearWrench would be a great setup.

HF has some good deals.. but if your budget permits one of the above brands then that's where I'd personally spend it.

Anybody mentioned jacking the truck up to work on it? Even tire rotations need the truck in the air...

Harbor freight FTW. Been using their low profile 3 ton jack for a couple years and it's been great.

I just bought the Pittsburgh pro swivel head ratchet. Used a swivel once and it was life changing.

I haven't tried one because I'm afraid to.

    Thanks, Tim. :help:
