    From what I understand, you just firmly pull the outer painted top half of the shell (the part that faces forward) and it will pop off. Then there are two screws holding the light assembly to the inside. You remove those screws and unplug the light pigtail. Voila! Then just reassemble in the opposite order. Some guys claim to do the switch in under 30 minutes.

    There are Youtube vids online, and likely listed in this thread.

    ^ @RobP62 nailed it. It's kinda terrifying to pull em off as they're just plastic held in by clips, but there's a video in the thread somewhere of someone doing it so you can kinda see where to pull safely. Definitely doable in under 30 min
