I would trade it if I could, but it is from my first deployment and is engraved with my unit and operation enduring freedom  Can't let it go

    Do not buy.

Get a WASR (new) or if you really want American get a PSAK47.

I'd love to own a Barrett .50 (Sadly I have no where within a Tacoma's tank range to shoot it I don't think) :(

I do kinda miss just driving out into the desert just past Temecula CA and being able to blow off a few boxes with my 710 whenever I felt like it....

Philly sucks which is where I am now (suburbs).

I've shot all the big Belt fed Guns while in the Corps though, even did Machine Gun School which was great, MK-19 was prob my favorite...

I would like to someday also buy a FN 5.7, I did get to shoot one at a demo day and my god it has no kick, like a BB gun, amazing for the speed that round travels.! Ammo is stupid expensive though..

I have a 1938 German Luger from my father. A local gunsmith looked at it and said it was quite possibly the worst example of a Luger that he had ever seen. Not a trace of bluing, the firing pin had been repaired, not replaced but repaired and it sometimes fires a bit more energetically than it should. I still wouldn't trade it for anything.

Yeah, I've been reading this past week and the WASR and PSAK47 look to be wiser choices.

I don't need a full size, but the M&P 2.0 speaks to me...

Shooting my boss' Desert Eagle .50 was the most bonkers, cartoon like firearm experience of my life. First, the thing is a beast. Second, the bullets were comically massive. Third, we were shooting lake weds from atop a hill and the water spray went absurdly high.

Marlin 1895SBL, been wanting a big-bore guide gun since my first deployment in 2003. Have no reason to own one living in New England, but slow trying to convinces the misses to move out west.

    You kids today... sheesh...

    1. Colt Single Action Army - .45 Colt. 7 1/2", nickel, ivory grips with my initials.

    2. Pre 64 Winchester Model 70, .270 Win (what else), Leupold M8-4X in Leupold dual dovetail mounts. That, my friends, is a rifle.

    3. A high grade Parker Brothers 28 gauge 30" barrel SxS stocked to my dimensions with exhibition grade American Black Walnut.

By the way, I've done a fair amount of shooting and the Ruger GP100 takes the cake for the worst trigger I've encountered other than the Turkish made shotguns which should be avoided even if free. They are absolute junk.

Even being able to shoot a M60 from the hip and go thru a 200rd belt

IMG_0487.jpg Probably this. I don't know the exact model but it looks pretty powerful. I could maybe mount it on my truck too. If my research is correct, I believe the the Germans used them in WW2.
