Ordered some goodies from TheRetrofitSource to finally retrofit my headlights!

 

did you order new ones?? I remember your other one was trashed...

 

Made a frankenpack, just need to install them. My other ones weren't terrible only one was bent and I removed it

Real fun comes tomorrow, I have to pass emissions and this ECU has never had to before because it was in a 95 which they Dyno and monitor the pipe. 96 and above they just plug OBD II in and go, so we will see. I am going to complete the drive cycle tonight, no CEL so far.

 

lame. Emissions. I know not what that is.

 

It is lame but it's also the deciding factor for whether or not I can make the trip. If I can't pass I can't register and if I can't register I can't drive.

I technically didn't work on the truck today, but I did grab a T100 axle off Craigslist for it. Funny thing is, I fabbed and welded this axle about 15 years ago for another project. No one has used her since.
I was cruising c-list randomly and saw it, I knew it was the one instantly. She's a lil dirty and has some light surface rust, but that will get buffed out. It was set up for 4 link and some trusses originally, but thankfully the previous owner cut off the lower tab for SUA, which is how I will be mounting it. I'm pretty excited it came back to me, always wondered where it went. Turns out it was laying around down the street.

 

Nope, def not bringing it. Can't end up with two vehicles that aren't dailyable. Even if my commute to work is only 1.5mi. The cruiser doesn't even have recovery points.

 

its got a tow hitch. and a im sure a oem front point haha
