I must be seeing something different than you as post #4 still has the chrome surround from post #1 which is what would be correct. Post #6 shows no chrome but the OP would need a body colored painted surround.

I think you are assuming the SR/SR5 grille and the Pro grille are the same size. They are not, the Pro grille is larger to take up the void from removal of the trim piece. The painted surrounding part is the same on all trucks.

Sorry I was looking at the 4th pic, not post #4. That chrome trim is replaced with the pro insert, it meets flush with the painted part of the front end.

Don't limit yourself to the Pro grille, there's lots of options out there

Yeah maybe I am just looking at it the wrong way as I am seeing it the same way as Starting with Off Road or Sport Grille.

Not trolling anything my friend. On my truck which is an Off Road I removed the Painted Surround and the Pro Grille inset attached to it. From the looks in Post #1, the Chrome Surround is the same exact piece that I had to reuse, maybe starting with an SR or SR5 Grille is different and you do not reuse that piece.

My photo-shop skills suck, truck keeps ending up looking like a black 1st gen with a dildo sticking out of the hood scoop no matter how hard I try to put a Pro Grill on the OP's truck pic.

You don't want to see the results, trust me.

@jberry813 can you help me out, I think your truck pic ruined my abilities to photo-shop ever again!
