That was one of the selling features, I don't tow often so having it hidded away behind the plate is a sweet feature.
My guys usually get it powder coated within a day or 2.

You can always get plastic plugs to fill the holes. You can probably find them in orange or spray paint black ones to match. Similar to plugs in the rear bumpers used when not using sensors. So you can cover the holes if you want to.

This would be the only reason I'd even think about switching my back bumper. Simple fact I don't tow a lot. Look forward to seeing the install.

So I am driving about 35mph yesterday and something so small I didn't even see it hits my windshield at the top directly in front of drivers seat and a good 15inch crack right down in front of me. This never happened to me before. I have glass insurance and they will come to my house to fix it but it seemed to crack very easily. I looked around and thought maybe I was being snipered by a kid with a bb gun or something. I saw nothing hit it. I have had plenty of cracked windshields but never saw it happen right in front of me like that from what I could only guess was a small pebble. Not even a month with this truck and only 1200 miles on it. Glass insurance is my friend I guess. Luckily they come to the house to fix because I am not thrilled with taking it to a garage and have them scratch my brand new truck

After nearly 2 years I only have 1 chip 3/4" long but have a few knicks here and there. Dads 16 Camry windshield looks like someone hit it with a round of buckshot. Sad. What sucks is my 98 Nissan had bad wiper scores on both sides when I bought it a few years ago. I make a habit of following 18 wheelers in that car and rocks just bounce off and never crack it. Shame that a 20 year old windshield has better glass than a 2016 or 2017 Toyota. Welcome to the club.

The glass coverage is like $10 a month and this will be the forth or fifth time I use it in the past 10 years. So I would say its a break even but they are coming tomorrow to fix it. I may be getting more of my moneys worth with this truck if pebbles keep cracking it glass though.lol

Got these bedside decals from @CBoy808 , in matte black. Last night I used 100% mental focus, the force and all the patience I've developed from raising a teenage daughter, to put them on dry. No wrinkles or bubbles. I'm happy with the new look!
Question: Does anyone know if I can just wax straight over the matte black vinyl? I used an auto prep, wax and grease remover to clean the paint surface and want to get some protection back on my paint.

I got my new truck (2017 TRD Off Road 4x4 DCSB Inferno) Tinted out. Not but a couple days off the dealer lot!! Love this truck and the tint makes it look so much better I think.

I opted for 20% over all the rear factory privacy glass and 5% on the front 2 windows and 5% windshield strip flush with the bottom of the rear view mirror square. Perfect for me!! Love it.

I also got my new portable Air compressor (gotta be able to air back up after off roading) in the mail yesterday and my center console organizer and center console tray as well.

I also bought 2 cans of flat black plasti Dip for my grill (I'll get to that when I have time) and also installed a tinted bubble style tag cover.

    :)

Now you just gotta pull the vinyl in between the front and rear windows. Don't over think it, it WILL look better

Well, my 17 TRDTaco has been crack free for a year now, but my 2012 ML350 got a star-crack on the Passenger side two years ago repaired by Safelite. But just earlier this month I got hit again, this time on the edge which developed a crack 9 inches long on the Driver's side. Safelite came to my house and I got a completely new windshield paid for by my Insurance Company, no deductible applies! Happy camper!

At first I didn't understand what you meant.

If your saying the pillars between the front and rear windows are wrapped in blk vinyl, wow and I didn't realize that. I might have to look at a photoshop or two or if anyone else has pics of this on a tinted Inferno..?
