I was pleasantly surprised!

 

I can get a good price on a snorkel right now... do you guys think I should go ahead and get it or hold off and save the money for the bumpers? I don't think the bumper will be in range for years anyways

Any of you guys up in the Huntsville area know of a good place for bed liner application? Trying to get some rock sliders bed lined professionally. I hate painting and anything like it.

I have only ever dealt with Linex of Huntsville when they did a bumper for me. Seemed to be pretty reasonably priced and got the bumper done in a day. Other than that I would definitely talk to @TacoAlaMode

 

How much did they charge you for the bumper if you don't mind me asking?

 

I did mine myself with raptor liner, just used some 400 (prolly could have went with 220) grit sandpaper and taped off everything, but I am eventually gonna do the whole truck.

 

That looks good. Hows it held up after being in the sun for however long its been on there?

I need portability so a handheld is what I'm looking for. Kinda lost on what I really need in terms of power etc. etc.

I will also need the option to use AA batteries for an emergency if the stock rechargeable battery dies.

 

I wanna say it ran me $280 for the bumper. I will say this, it was colormatched to the truck. Actually, same color code as EJ's right about this post, and it faded something fierce. I would say after about a year, maybe more the top of it faded to a brownish/grey. I had to buy color code matched paint to touch it up. Couldn't tell once I touched it up but it did fade quite a bit.

 

its been on there like 5 years and its dirty but it still the same color. I didn't take my flares off and I should have because the edges of them where I couldnt really sand have flaked a little. that's really my only regret, I should have popped them off and sanded everything a little better and sprayed them separate so I would have full coverage on the body and on the flares.

 

If you plan on the rock sliders sliding on rocks, rattle can (even though you hate it) is the way to go.

 

I have bed liner on my sliders, dirt trap. Can't clean them for anything

 

I could probably suck it up and paint them if it costs that much. Especially for something I'm going to drag through the dirt.

Looks like I should probably go with some spray paint then. Any recommendations?
