They started putting the roof on the barn next door today. Gave the inspector a ring and just gave him a heads up that they were still going, and working about a foot away from the actual active power line. He said "woah thanks for the heads up, I'll get out there tomorrow"

You'd think they would. This is a stupid easy payday for the county. Easy fines and easy demolition orders.

Got certified for my HAM license! Test wasn't bad at all since I was prepared. Took 7 minutes and I only got two wrong.

Anyone here need a folding engine hoist? My boss is selling it for $100. He has a larger one that we use here at the shop so he don't need this one. I figured I would ask here first before he puts it on Craigslist.

So tempting! I hate to pass up a good deal even if I only need to use it once.......it looks like the real deal, and not the HF type. Damn you.

So I'm in the market for some armor but not looking to blow a bunch of $ and I get it you get what you pay for (to an extent sometimes its just inflated) but I'm looking at a set of rock sliders from Avid offraod bold on. anyone else running these? Site says it cant support weight of vehicle but not sure if that liability or does it not mount to the frame?

Welp, stopped at my buddy's shop in Rockville to have my tires balanced, found this on the frame. So, there's that. I feel about as torn as that rail is.

It mounts to the body, not the frame which is why it can't support the weight of the truck. Mobtowns most basic weld on sliders are $350, and they charge $80 an hour to weld them on (2 hours or so). Could buy them, then by the time their built (4-6 week lead time) you should have saved enough money to have them installed.
