Installed a Hypertech Speedometer calibrator so my 315/70/17's will read correct. No more guesstimations for me. Found a new open box one on ebay for 160 free shipping, from east coast jeeps. I'll check it against a tom tom gps I have laying around to make sure it's accurate on my way to work tomorrow.

Use a torx wrench and remove the bolts inside the side rails. When you have them all off, pull the whole thing off, just take the spacers behind the rails out, as well as the tonneau cover mounts, and bolt the side rails back to the holes. I have the same tonneau cover rails on my truck and they are easy to remove.

O.K. you may need to get shorter bolts to get the rails back tight.
Here are the instructions for installing the rails, so just go backwards...LOL

Thanks. I'll figure it out. I figured I'd have to pull the rails off. Just wanted to make sure before I got balls deep into it. I imagined someone would know. Hence asking here and not making a new thread. Thanks again!

His likes remind me of the only other set of tire tracks on an otherwise empty trail. No matter how far you go, they're there. If you follow them, they will show you the way to something beautiful. If you ever get lost, they'll show you the way back to civilization. If you stray away from them you'll only find shit that's not worth looking at.

On topic, just finished cutting the rear, trimming fender flares now. Pics to come if the I don't lose the sun.
