What would you think the OD of the eye is?

Want to secure my ax and shovel to my brackets that hold them, but also don't want to drill a massive hole in the ax handle.

    Thanks!

So you're looking to drill a hole through to be able to slip the cable through? The biggest concern is the crimp. The crimp is about 5/8"- 3/4" around when its crimped on to the cable

I don't want to drill a hole, if it can be helped. I've had the tools in the bed for several months now, and no meth heads have stolen them yet. But a lock would give peace of mind.

I guess meth and tools don't mix :D

A lock would definitely give peace of mind. It's hard to lock up axe and shovel with no hole in them haha. Don't really know what to suggest there
