What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I had my speedway blue 2006 SWB double cab FINALLY converted to the 2015 front end and LED taillights as well. I'm currently waiting on my LED fog light assembly kit to arrive and the front end will be finished up for the moment. I also just got the front suspension off of a Baja XT with the one inch Toytec spacers already installed and am hoping to have those installed tomorrow. Once that goes on, I'm then upgrading my tires up to 285 BFG KM2's (or another mud terrain) that will give it a nice stance and aggressive look. Here's how it currently stands today and I love it! Just can't wait to keep the upgrades coming. Happy 4-wheeling everyone and have a great and safe day!

 

well it wasn't today but i recently painted my dinged up grille surround and badging

 

Hope it heals up good I cut my thumb like that 2 years ago and they wouldn't let me get stitches and it still hurts whenever I press on something that's the fine treatment I got in the military lol

Found a good set of wheels on Craigslist. Had them put on today. I like it more than I thought.

 

New tie rods

 

Limped it home from work and parked it. The bad wheel bearing is making so much noise now, its to the point where I dont trust driving the truck anymore. The new bearing will be here tomorrow, and the new wheel speed sensor will be here Saturday.

Knock on wood, this is the first real issue Ive had with this truck in over 4 years.

 

Began phase 1 of FJ OEM Dual VVTI HO airbox mod.

I think I might be a Pioneer in this. Results thus far are promising.

Debadged it yesterday and took off the mudguards to trim them. Gonna be ordering Light Racing UCAs next week! And hopefully try and save money for color matched grill soon

Took the day off and cleared some brush from behind my house. Used the Tacoma to haul it away. A real challenge with that swingout on the truck.
