Thinking about lifting the truck higher a bit still. Hoping for an inch or two more all around. Thinking body lift, but need to understand how the u bolt flip kits works. Thinking I'll need a diff drop bracket too.

U-bolt flip kit provides no lift, it's sole purpose is more ground clearance by the new plate being on top of the axle and the ubolt studs now facing up. And it looks much cleaner.

Are you currently running factory suspension? I myself advise against body lifts. Unless it's an old truck used for mudding or as a flood vehicle.

Edit: diff drop as in the front diff (4wd) or the driveshaft carrier?

If you are looking for 2-3" without breaking the bank, you can do 5100s up front and move the clip up a couple notches with the factory coil and put blocks in the rear (which you'll need extended length u-bolts wether you do a flip kit or not).

Gotcha that's what I was thinking. Lifting is a different world to me. I was thinking doing those items after checking my geometry for my driveline components per OZ T' s process I think to keep it in line. I'm running an 887 up front, Deavers AAL in back with who's on all corners.

Heck ya I have the spc ucas as well!

If you were a prerunner you'd have the maxtrac spindle option.

I know @Bennett707 is running a 1" body lift on his t4r. He could chime in with some advice with his experience on them. I've heard many mixed reviews on it, good and bad. But I believe if you just go with a 1" you will avoid many of the problems people with 2-3" body lifts experience.

Keep in mind though that body lifts may require modifications to your steering column shaft, wiring harnesses, exhaust, etc. everything attached to the body will be pulled up another inch off the frame.

You know that's some good stuff thanks, forgot about the steering. That alone can be a major headache.

You could always get a little bigger tires for some extra height/ground clearance.

Things are good, been staying super busy at work since the hurricane. We have our regular work load plus flood vehicles. 12 hour days, work through lunch most days, come home and pass out lol. This weekend I'll be relaxing and playing some Destiny 2 :)

    How are things with you??

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Yes sir, gave that girl the extra inch she so desired. The washers that came with it were weak, so went to the hardware store n got extra thick fender washers for em. Only things to consider when installing is to do one side at a time to retain body alignment, mark and loosen the steering intermediate shaft, remove the splash guards from the body not the frame, and disconnect the wheel speed/ABS sensor wire from behind the UCA so ya don't rip it. Bed is easier, again, one side at a time. Torque spec for the body are hard to find and they weren't listed in the instructions from @ToyTec Lifts either. Lemme know if I missed anything. I think torque for bed bolts is 32ft#'s and the body bolts are in the pic.
