Mobtown is $400 for sliders with kickout and they recommend pain and then welding. So probably looking at $600-$660ish? Factoring in their military discount. But I can get sos sliders for $500 or less and bolt on that support the weight of the vehicle. Not knocking mobtown at all just want to weigh my options and always nice to save a buck here and there

 

So $360 then after discount, no shipping, and $150 or so for install. So you're looking at $500-$550 and you support a local business. Paint costs like $20 in material from Home Depot.

Just painted my steel targets that my buddy made me. I just used some old spray paints that we had laying around the shop.

 

Time for some frangible munitions!

 

I can only imagine how much @Mobtown Offroad or any other shop for that matter would charge for something like that. Frame repair is costly from what I remember.

He fixed the frame rust on my stock 04 Tacoma but as he was doing it he stopped to text me "Do me a favor and lose my number" lol. He said it was a bitch because the metal on those frames are so thin.

 

so, also factor in about $80 worth of drill bits, because almost all bolt on sliders require drilling (but not mobtowns, they use clamps that are better IMO)

 

I did my old sliders with two $10 step bits off Amazon.

Either way, mobtown is the way to go. And yeah, I'm biased but I've met Joe and he's a stand up guy.

 

true, ive got mobtown stuff on my truck as well. hell, my race car will probably have mobtown stuff on it
