Yeah, popping off the component with a pry bar was faster and quicker than anything else I tried. The rivets I was removing I was replacing with bolts, so I had to remove what was left, but the little that's left pops out with almost no effort from a air hammer.

I have I about 2 sec with the air hammer after removing it to that point on the first one. Didn't budge so I moved on and didn't try on the preceding 15-20rivets I needed removed

This worked the best so far. I used air chisel to pop off the components. Also today I upgraded to a bigger zip gun. Anyway you look at it, it's a bitch but making progress.
    Thanks for the input everyone!

Looks like the kid doesn't know how to cope a tube:notsure:?

Or I guess the question would be, is it the shop that's supposed to cope the tube or the customer?

I had tubing bent from this fab shop and he did outstanding work. I had him bend the tube and tack it in place. I welded the rest.
Not sure what he and the customer worked out as a diy bumper.

It seems like something's up. The rest of that guy's work doesn't look like that:

Now that you mention it, it does look like there's a lot of grinding in his pre-paint photos on here.

Too far away for me anyway lol. Someday when pelfreybilt makes a first gen hybrid bumper I'll be all over it - until then trail gear or I'll end up getting my own welder and pipe bender pending I am able to find a place I can have one at.
