I haven't traced it down. I'm siding with a pulley bearing. It's on the maintenance check list.

Awesome! I need to head back out there again. The last time we camped out there we had so many border patrol flyovers (probably because we were shooting).

So here are some progress pics from my shop build!

IMG_5220.jpg Here is a pic before I really did much with the swamp area, just about 33 loads of 10 yard dumptrucks!

And below is after 8 hours of tractoring!

    IMG_5254.jpg

My buddy operated the Case with a Bucket and Gagnon the first couple hours to show me how to work it, lol. Was getting grade ready for the pad!
    IMG_5167.jpg
Forms going in. Had to add some fill and these are 2 of the massive footings for the 2 lifts I am installing
    IMG_5255.jpg
Just after tying all the steel up by myself till 2am, all 18" O.C. using #3 rebar, and 5" thick and 3'x3'x2' footings for lifts, as well as 3250psi concrete, the good shit!
    Call me Capt. Overkill, lol.

More stuff!! After sleeping from 3am till 5am, had to go back and get ready for my finishers and tighten up a couple loose ends for my 7am pour time, I had to fill the front footings so the truck wouldnt get stuck since I was tailgating the concrete!IMG_5270.jpg

    And here goes the pour!!
    IMG_5275.jpg

    Getting there!!

    IMG_5277.jpg

And here is the final product!!IMG_5288.jpg

Thanks Tom! It was!!! I need to get a Backhoe so I can really get in there and clean it out, as well as using a small bobcat so I can get deeper into the swamp and clear out all the nasty Poison oaks ( I have thorned and non-thorned type, yay me!) as well as poison Sumac and other brush, as well as the 100+ dead trees in there!
I also want to completely clear out everything under the palms down there and clean them up so it looks nice!

    Hi neighbor.
I am not too far from you, just off Sunset.
Shop looks pretty cool, getting ready to submit the plans for mine to the city here in the next week or so. Are you incorporating both the sea containers into the shop or?

Given the number of nice Tacomas and toyota trucks I see around here, it doesn't surprise me that there are several of us in the area.

I would love to check out the LS1 truck. Still debating LS power for my desert truck that I will hopefully restart on after my shop is done. Being a gearhead with no garage is a bit of a challenge (had one at my rental house, house I bought didn't have one but the price was right).
