One of my friends from FL is looking for a 2nd gen DCSB automatic TRDOR, relatively low miles (<150k) for under 15k. None of those aspects are negotiable, so if anyone has anything or knows of anyone selling, let me know.

Not at the moment. Had one interested party, but haven't heard back. I'll follow up before trading in, but in a months time I hope to have a lead on a new vehicle and/or already have it.

I would look into getting a set of plates for it, either from demello themselves, or if Jerry at BAMF still makes them, those look stronger to me.

For those specs, they may have to look at prerunners. Mine is manual, and will be well over 15k or I would suggest mine.

good luck man... I dont know how FL vehicles are prices compared to here... but I paid $18k for mine w/ 93k on it..... He could probably find an SR5 for that price, but for a TRDOR, he's going to be looking at 17-19k (after negotiations) most people have them listed at 19-20k (I searched for weeks)

@TacoCat 's could likely be privately sold for 20-22k, and I could totally make and ad and sell it for him but he doesnt like money I guess :p

@TacoCat ......clean retail (which is what I ALWAYS price my trucks around) is $21,800 and that is w/out the Supercharger... I'd list it at $23k obo I BET your truck will be gone w/in that month timeline.

Mine is low mileage, good shape, supercharged. And manual

If a dealer gives me shit, I'll walk. I don't have to trade my truck in, and if they give me a good enough price on the car, but wont budge on trade in, I'll just keep the truck too and sell privately. Trading in is just less work than dealing with tire kickers, people wanting to haggle prices, nitpick every little thing, etc. I aint got time to deal with that shit.

And as most of you know, I am not out to gouge anyone. Hell, I practically give my stuff away when I am done with it (in some instances, I do give it away).

I'm going to finish putting my truck back driveable this evening (tightening that one shock up, and buttoning up the UCAs) youre welcome to borrow mine until you pick up the WRX (hell, it'll be just like driving your old truck since all the parts are the same lol) except w/ one less pedal and not supercharged. haha

No I don't. I think the black ones were for storing tools and other small items. Red is gas, white is water, and yellow is diesel? Black was storage

I appreciate the offer but no worries. I'm not in a rush to sell.

I think I have decided on a wrx limited, with several add on goodies, or a golf r. I did some comparison shopping last night (on the main sites, so these are msrp. I'll haggle them down between USAA, Costco, and getting multiple OTD quotes). A wrx limited with all the goodies I wanted (short throw, exhaust, navi, etc) was around 37-38k. A sti limited with a few extra goodies (most were included) was around 44-45k. So the wrx wins between those two (plus almost 10mpgs better Edit: more like 5mpgs, sorry. Thought it was more). I dont need the brembos, recaro seats, or a diff that I can control myself. Those would be cool features though.

The only other vehicle I am very seriously considering is the golf r. I love the hatchback, and that would be my biggest selling point. Features are similar, power and mpg advantages go to the golf, but looks wise, i keep going back to the wrx. Price wise, they are almost the same. The golf is a few grand more, about 40-41k, but in the grand scheme of things, negligible. I am going to try to see about test driving one of each in the very near future, and depending on which I like more, I will start requesting quotes.
