$500, $450ish after discount. No drilling so still cheaper option. Only thing is yes mobtown could be a local pick up and yes local business. But I'll contact them and see the details

    @BiohazardTaco

There are many reasons why we are higher than the vendor you suggested.

Their sliders use HREW round tubing, we use DOM tubing. HREW would dent in the tubing bender and flex under a Hi Lift so we refuse to use it. DOM is far superior steel and considering you are using sliders to beat on rocks and protect the side of the truck, we aren't going cheap.

Their "100% bolt on NO drilling" is factual BUT it is not enough in our opinion. They, and every other vendor that makes sliders utilizes the same mounting holes that we utilize but we take two more steps to make the sliders that much more secure to the chassis. In the middle of the slider we use our signature clamp system that boxes around the chassis eliminating flex in the middle. Then at the back end of the flange there is only one hole you can bolt through so we have another clamping system that eliminates flex at the rear. Finally, like every other vendor that makes sliders, you can only have the final square support leg from the flange to the hoop assembly so far back. This means you have a long unsupported moment arm that will flex upward into the underside of the cab or bed. We eliminated that issue by gusseting the moment arm by tieing it in to the sliders.

So, yes we are a little more than some but there is great reasons as to why. Our sliders are a superior product when comparing to everyone else's.

$649 vs $500 before discounts, shipping or tax and install.

You get them here and you pay MD Sales Tax so $687.94. You will be close to that number with theirs plus shipping.

We offer a 10% military discount as well so you can knock $64.90 of the set before tax too.

All this explanation applies to the second and third gen sliders. We do not make bolt on sliders for the first gens. There is no way to do it without drilling.

I have their sliders and by far I like these. I've seen others. And the clamping in the rear is nice. My friend that owns a meineke shop and mechanic for 25 years helped put on his sliders and skids. First he helped with the skids. 3 of them. He stated damn these are heavy and stated for his IFS skid said" why put the cross members here" once he looked closely and I showed others he said now that's nice. And having a drain cut out for oil.
For the sliders he was amazed at the attention to detail down to the bolts and the clamping system. And yes I did NO DRILLING on my 3rd Gen.

2.7 Ecoboost trailered this just as good as my old 5.0 would have. Had the car on the trailer, 4 transmissions in the car and two slant 6 motors in the bed. Car with trailer and motors weighed 6100 lbs. No sweat at 65 mph from almost the Kentucky/Virginia state line back to the shop. This motor continues to impress me.

    Eco's are great for tow/haul.

I just don't want any of that small displacement, turbo stuff. I'm more comfortable with displacement, these days.

The 3.5 Eco is incredibly strong, and the 2.7 is pretty nuts too.

My 5.0 most certainly had a lot more low end torque and more responsive with emergency acceleration at speed.

I was helping out a brother in law that needed it gone and had no good way to get it out. So I was helping family. I took it straight to the scrap yard.

I uh, I think you got the wrong guy. @Jultepod wants sliders, I need frame repair lol. I know well enough that sliders made from anything less than DOM steel is just a set of nerf bars.

All good, bro! That said, I've decided I'm going to order a set of Saf-T Caps frame patches. Of course, where my damage is, I need 3 different pieces just because of where it's located.

my favorite saying, "inexpensive is okay, cheap is not" applies here. I've seen a few shops have their products "tested" by customers in real world situations, and I have to say I'm convinced paying more for quality is better than saving $20-200 by choosing a cheaper route. Not saying SOS is bad, but I have heard more than a few people mention Mobtown. It's your truck and your decision, though!
