Like i mentioned Joe did the frame rust repair on my stock taco and he did a hell of a job. If I had before & after pics on my phone I would post'em.

    Yawn...
All of this talk of sliders and it's making me want one.:cookiemonster:

Almost anywhere you go in this forum while searching up "best steps", and you'll see someone chime in saying GET SLIDERS. :pccoffee:

I use my Taco for a lot of needs, but absolutely none of them are off-road fun. That being said, it's nice to have a feeling of security when parking in a busy lot, having it attached to the frame instead of the body... etc... even better to know @Mobtown Offroad is actually local AND can install it for my lazy "transit mechanic" a**.

What do you guys think about getting it line-x'ed? Over the top? I'm not the type to want to keep going down under to retouch for minor rust issues. I already did that last week for my 2014 frame.

I had all pro sliders on my last truck that were line-x'd. I wasn't a fan at all, but I got a good deal on them used so I went for it. Wouldn't recommend it at all, and would just rattle can them. You'll maybe have to touch them up once a year from regular driving.

$85 an hour is cheap as far as i'm concerned. My shop charges $115 an hour and we're slammed every day of the week.

Picked my RTT from the ups freight facility in Elkridge. Talk about confusing! Some random dude in a forklift helped me out.

That was mine. They did my cab mount chop and installed my snorkel a while back too. They do amazing work and they're only a few minutes down the road. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.

Would really like to go, but.... work.

I do admit, it was cool seeing them fly by really close to my work garage for the past two days.

Show opens at 0800 each day

No duh, your backyard on a grill.

Got my K&N air filter and cleaning kit from Amazon today. :):)
Looks like I'll have a nice time swapping that out and changing my oil over my work weekend.
