I have never seen it. But I would imagine a 2nd gen with a rear locker and a lot of momentum and skinny pedal we could. Just are you willing to push it that that hard.

Was that that section on Main Divide where the RAV4 was parked??? I was able to make it up there in 2wd, but started losing it at the very top?! I ONLY gave-up because Antonio and Jay were already on their way back. That was the only real loose dirt/rock section that was a PITA!!! I just can't remember exactly where that location was as that was at night and shi* was DARK... "Hills have Eyes" type of shi* for sure!!!:goingcrazy: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Btw, to ALL, I was a bit "harsh" with my wording in some other posts, maybe in other threads, but anyways, as you are driving to the Maple Springs Visitor Center you will be passing through quite a few houses on a narrow windy road. PLEASE, I BEG YOU, do NOT drive too FAST through this section because 1) people live there 2) it's a narrow, very narrow in some spots w/ blind spots, road 3) and people walk their dogs. I'm MORE CONCERNED about someone hitting a dog!!! :goingcrazy: LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl: What can I say, I LOVE dogs!!!:fistbump::cheers: People are well aware of the possible cars/dangers, but NOT necessarily so for the dog and animals!!!

Anyways, just PLEASE drive safely through this section!!!:fistbump::cheers:

I'll have to let someone else chime in on that one. I believe there are SOME sections... I don't know? All I know is that we got "camera shy" because the guy taking us to the trailhead assuuuuuuuumed everyone else had toll passes (fasttrack... or whatever the hell it costs) and I ended up having to pay the fine. The first "offense" was only like a $1 something, but, from how I understood reading the toll website, you only get 1x chance for your first offense. Any offense after, it is automatically like a $60 charge everytime after?! That is how "I" understood it.

But yeah, me personally, I try to stay away from toll roads. Not because of the charges, but from my past experiences (i.e. this includes other states), toll roads are F'N BS!!!

I have fastrak, just couldn't remember if the 241 was the fastrak freeway or not.

DAMN, I like your map!!! I will have to redo my maps eventually.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure then that was the section. I was able to make it about 80% or more as I was heading back to where you were stuck on that big boulder that you "joyfully" climbed on for some reason???:goingcrazy::D:p LOL!!!:laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl: Anyways, my back end starting slipping and digging in.

Anyways, for those that don't know what I'm talking about, Ed decided to pull up onto this BIGA$$ ROCK and got stuck. Long story short, I volunteered to chase after the front of the pack that got split off due to someone not paying attention to the truck in front and the person not paying attention to the truck behind!!!

With that last statement, PEOPLE, PAY ATTENTION!!! It is pretty obvious if you have a truck in front/back of you and if you no longer see that truck, then SAY SOMETHING!!! It may sound funny now, but if someone happens to be new to the trail and they are depending on YOU, it can get FUGLY REAL QUICK!!! Don't blame the inexperienced person for NOT knowing the trail as YOU are just as responsible for their safety. Hell, I am the type that I could be in the middle of the pack, but YET, call out over comms randomly to ask how the "caboose" is doing even though I maybe +5 trucks ahead!!!

Here is the rock. I just happen to be recording video and was in the right spot to capture it all!!!

There are 2 ways to get up to the starting point depending on where you are coming from in Orange County
You can either take the 55frwy and exit Champman or you can take the 5frwy and exit El Toro. Either way will get you there.
