What makes this a bumper?

 

Where it mounts and how it's designed. Some want to add extra protection vs just a plastic bumper fascia. Or, add shackles for a recovery point without all the extra weight of a full bumper and don't need a winch. This is built solid to take a hit/pull and designed much more than a wrap around exo style light bar, some more pics in album.

 

I like it, I'd get it if I didn't need a winch.

Exactly same, one person has installed and swapped with one of the other plate style ones already, hoping they post pictures soon.

I have done one with a winch for a local, same jig/style don't have any pics yet.



I know it is hard to please the masses everywhere if not impossible, I tend to lean towards the baja prerunner style since it's what I like and not a lot offered. Also, this is a minimalist approach, I am in the process of a full tube baja bumper for those wanting a bit more extreme, and building the bolt on tube kick-up/kick-out sliders shown.

Yes, OEM and PRO confirmed so far. Just going by pictures, it looks as most if not all aftermarket options will as well, will update info.

Probably looking for just the standard $400 if you've got one. I don't have much practical use for the shackles at the moment even though that one looks badass.

 

Just PM me what you are wanting. At the moment for long distance PayPal, looking into building a website. Most of what I do is custom and local, offering a "set" product to sell/ship is a bit different. So this whole logistics of shipping and building/selling something and not seeing the person face to face is all new to me, I just enjoy the building part . The first long distance two I sent using Fastenal, and am looking into UPS and having custom boxes made to ship. It might cost a little more to ship, but I think it will be better on the customer end, and less chance of scratched powdercoat or damage.

Solid round is extra $25, flat and cone are free, all end caps are grinded smooth for seamless look.
