    Not a black market really but people steal it because they can't afford $1.29 a can. It such a staple of our diets here people have a hard time not having it.

    I have no faith whatsoever in the "Big Three" credit agencies. A decade ago my wife's SS was compromised. I got a bogus Sprint bill for almost two grand even though we never had Sprint. Upon notifying them, we received conflicting information from all three agencies as to where we lived, Etc. Customer service is atrocious. Some bullshit collection agency was threatening us and the credit agencies were like, sorry about that but were putting a ding on your credit anyway. I ended up paying a Lawyer to write a letter to Cavalry collections, and that got them off our back immediately. However, the incident stayed on my wifes record for three years. What a joke.

    I got notified the day before Experian leak was announced: that I had a new address; of which, I don't. So... I still need to call them and figure out what is going on.

    Ok, I'm clean. Apparently the "loan" was an attempt to see if I was attempting to request this report fraudulently. The only thing inaccurate was a home phone number from 10 years ago.

    Shit locked down.

    Sigh of relief.

    Sending Equifax a bill for the cost of the freeze at Experian and Transunion.

    And some people wonder why they're unemployed, but hey it's the systems fault.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:
    Setting the wayback machine to 2008...I was on a deployment to the UAE and got an opportunity to go off base to shop at one of the malls. In the UAE, being a progressive Islamic country and all, it was quite possible to see a full ninja pushing a stroller through the mall with a hot Russian wearing white hot pants and a skin tight crop top (and porn star not). The two ends of the spectrum. I wanted to take a picture of that soooo bad, but safety orders were no pics of the locals.

    Fucking credit bureaus are worthless. Can't ever get a human. There's no phone number. Blah blah blah. We've had ours locked down for a few years because exes are assholes.

    But we can't just log in to the site because the last phone number thru have for us is no longer ours. But they call that number to verify if it's really us checking credit. But we can't talk to them to change the info, so they call the old number, but we can't change the number... you get the idea...

    The one real error in my report is my home phone number...from 10 years ago. I filed a dispute, but I ain't holding my breath.

    Only got the Equifax report. Transunion and Experian's sites crashed due to load.
