I have the RCI hi lift mount for the bed rail..... and I suppose I could cut / fashion some aluminum for some bed rail tool mounts

actually.... dont you have the DIY tool mounts??? how easy was it do make? can you post some pics for me?

EDIT: I thought you were talking about mounting tools for some weird reason (it's been a long day)

But seriously you can also run the quick disconnect like I have on the hd spring mount and it keeps water proof as well. Comes off quick and I keep it in my cap until I hit the trail or need it on a convoy.

Yeah I made some but I think I measured wrong or drilled wrong cus mine is a little short at the bend. not hard at all man. benson x has a thread on it. some other good options in there too. I did it out of aluminum bar from depot cus I could just bend in my vise. It works for now until I get to making new ones or buy some more stout brackets I like. I got pics on my phone but no phone at work so when I get home.

I dont know honestly.... I decided that Icons up front were more important than a Voodoo rack... that's why I sold it.

debating on another bed rack, staying naked, or maybe even a folding tonneau cover.... who knows... we'll see

but at least I'll be on Icons :D

Shell is a DIY rack that @ERMB made. It's all unistrut. And with the prinsu, no issues at all!

Sorry man you caught me during a meeting at work. I think You could try to weld on some mounts and stuff to the sides of the bars. If you can get me some raw measurements of what you are trying to fit, then I can try to figure out how to make it fit. As far as fitment, you could always make the bottom of the mounts sit farther out from the rack in order to get more clearance. Do you plan to ever get an RTT?
