Sorry if this post is out of place but looking for recommendations for welders around the central Ohio area if anyone knows if any. Looking to get some rock sliders put on. Just got quoted $250-300 by a friend of a friend and about shit myself.

That seems high for even a friend of a friend. I gotta buddies in the canton area that range from free-to cases of beer.

Yeah I was a bit shocked. If you could help me out in anyway I would appreciate it. Even would be willing to drive a bit and pay double beer hahaha. Unfortunately I don't have any friends in the area who weld. One buddy moved to Montana and the other is in cali

 

If I can find anyone in the area a steelhead trip may be in order. Damn fall run never holds a candle to spring up there though!

 

Me and my buddy will gladly go out for some too! Lake Erie season is slowly ending, so it's River time.

 

Yeah cold nights should get them in know a few are getting caught off the walls and a couple in some east flows. Meant if I can't find a welder in central Ohio in my first post. But I will definitely keep you in mind. I love the area up there.

 

My buddy Colt is Midnight Steel welding in Lancaster. He's amazing at welding. Likely very reasonable too. I'm on the phone or I'd link his site ect.

Been a while since I've posted in here. I've done some much needed maintenance on my rig this week: replaced the Light Racing UCA ball joints that were starting to pop with updated zerk-fitting ones, did the ECGS bushing installation, and replaced the front brakes with Hawk pads and Sector rotors. Combined, I'm actually excited to drive again! The stopping power is insane even with 33's. I highly recommend them.

Anyone running Icons having trouble with leaks/flat shocks? I have a leaky front coilover and a flat rear shock. This makes 4 total that have gone out prematurely.

 

No way! Not icon! They are the best!!

 

Ya know I heard all these great things about them. Perform well when they're not flat, but i've had some bad luck with them. I've already decided to switch up companies. I'm either going to a King system or running ORI's. The ole lady even said I need to find something else so i'm taking this opportunity haha.

 

She said no to a solid axle though...she wants to keep that for the buggy. haha

 

What'd you pay for that beauty if you don't mind sharing? Looks great!

 

I've heard so many horror stories with icon so that's just my take on them. I've loved my kings so far. Iran king for a reason haha
