    Since the group buy is over. How is everyone planning on painting theirs?

    Brad gave me some great ideas, I wanted to see what the rest of you more experienced wheelers are planning as I am extremely new to this. Mine will be used as designed and get beat up so I can't see powder coating it. Although if there is a clear option that holds up, the examples they have are unpainted and look pretty slick. Of course black looks great too. I've never seen raw steel looking sliders. Might be nice to separate from the mall crawlers.

    Also are you planning on using the included hardware or upgrading the hardware?

    I've got exactly what is listed on that site standing by. I was going to give them a quick sanding by hand but I like the idea of the 3m paint removal wheel better. Follow that up with a good spray down with brake cleaner then prime and paint.

    Haven't thought about upgrading the hardware. Is the hardware provided not sufficient?
