Let us know @SlipperyTaco ! I didn't think this would get so much interest and I like it! However, the group is getting pretty big and that makes for a longer run for sure. My only growing concern is finding a camp spot big enough for everyone. also, with the large size of the group it will be getting kinda late when we reach camp so it might be harder to find a good open spot that isn't taken. So.... if anyone has any suggestions or favorite spots, please post up! I'm open to whatever and if need be we could split up for camping. Maybe find a spot closer to the top with multiple camp spots close together. My spot doesn't really have anything else close to it, which is why it's my spot lol but with ten plus trucks it might get a little tight. I'll be going up this weekend to scope things out.

 

This is going to be a good run. I'm pumped that another 4runner going to show me up on the trails lol.

 

I'm excited to see some 4Runners on this trail. I don't think that happens very much

 

I had a co-worker ask me to switch call weeks with him which would mean I could make this trip but the catch is that he needs to get another guy to agree too because I pull double duty on my call week. Fingers crossed, I'll let you guys know if I can make it.

Unfortunately it's out of my hands bro. I just took 6 days off when the baby was born and I'm taking 3 more the last week of October to go deer hunting so I'm all outta favors, but if I'm doing someone else a favor that just happens to work to my benefit... Well then mother fuckin game on! But this is all on the 3rd guy involved because it will fuck up his call rotation.

Do we need to devide up the group into two because of the size?

 

Two groups might not be a bad idea. I'm open to whatever, I've never put a run together with this much interest and you know the gap better than I do, what do you think? i just got down from the mtn and my spot looks doable. There are a couple spots closer to the top that might be better though. More trees, less wind and more room for people to spread out. I wish there was a way to save a spot the day before.

 

There's a few spots I know of near peppersauce campground. Not as high altitude but there's trees and lots of space.

 

It's probably just going to be a matter what's available.
