As promised, here are some pics of the rear. Did my cuts at 16 3/4, one pass with a 4" diamond disk. I just eyeballed the flares and used a dremel. I need to take a bit more out of the passenger's side flare and get some better edge liners from trail toys. Overall I'm really happy with both bumpers.

No mods today for my taco, but she just helped me to bring our new family member home.

My dad and I took a road trip to get her.The people at u-haul gave me a hard time to rent the dolly but I got it. We were able to start it and drove it to the dolly. Here are some pics. We should be home tonight. I still don't believe I got meone.

My dad neutralized the transfer case and the gear box. So far everything is good.

Nice  Uhaul has always given me a hard time about renting a car trailer or dolly. If I new a trailer, there's a local equipment rental company that rents me one of their bobcat trailers. I have better luck at the mom and pop uhaul places.

I'm installing Caliraised ditch lights and tacomabeast fog lights.
Just bought D2S XB HID bulbs from Morimoto and bought the Morimoto Mini D2S 4.0 Xenon projector and Panamera switchback shrouds.
Couldn't be more excited. Will show pics once I have pics to show!

    A thing or two...
Good video but not completely relevant to older 2nd gens. Older 2nd gens have the same 10mm/phillips head screws and clips, but the grill pulls up for removal and is held by a clip on either side.

2008 Tacoma V6 PreRunner SR5 Extended Double Cab Desert Sand Mica
Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
Nothing special here, just replaced by rear brake's with OEM shoe's and drum's along with all the springs, etc. :burnrubber:

I figured that it was time due to the fact that I had never-ever checked the rear brakes since I had first purchased my Tacoma, brand new driven off the lot back in April of 2008 and well this next coming year it will be coming up on 10 years old and already has well over 200,000 miles on it.

I was expecting the original shoes to have very little to practically no padding at all but believe it or not the shoe's still had enough padding to use well into the next coming year! The drum's are surprisingly still in very good condition.

Still though anyway I felt that eventually it be needed to be done and well I did it today. :amen:
