Any running the ADS that came from Kings or Icons? I'm looking to upgrading my set to ADS or Kings.

I know this is a couple months old, but are you saying the slotted shims can be added without removing the center pin and installing a longer pin? I have installed Allpro Expos and had 3 degree shims in my old setup, and I need to add them to the Expos, but I thought I would need a longer center pin in order for it to "seat" in the axle leaf spring perch. So I ordered new shims and a new 4" replacement center pin. So I am looking at having to clamp the spring pack, remove the pin and install new pin and shims. But if I can avoid that and just "slide" a pair of slotted shims in without replacing the existing center pin, it would make my life a lot easier. Can you clarify this? Thanks Marie!

So you would need the center pin head lengthener installed on the center pin in order to add in the shim. Some times the center pin provided with the leaf pack is long enough to accommodate the head lengthener and shim and sometimes it is not. If it is not then you would also need a new center pin as well. Some add the center pin head lengthener and longer center pin (if needed) prior to installing the new leaf pack on the truck. By doing this they can save themselves the added heartache of having to take the pack off of the truck in the future in order to add shims. IF this is not done prior to installation of the leaf pack then the new center pin head lengtheners and potentially new center pins would have to be installed prior to being able to use the shims. Which means the pack would have to be taken off the truck in order to add these parts. Again once these parts are installed you do not need to take the pack off of the truck in order to add, remove, or change out the slide in shims.

Man, I was hell bent on getting Kings until I saw this thread. Now I don't know what I want. It sounds like, between Kings and ADS, it's sort of a "you can't go wrong" situation?

It's all subjective. Get what your gut tells you and you're comfortable with!

"going with your gut" is problematic when you regularly suffer from analysis paralysis. Also I don't know too many other people with aftermarket shocks.
