Takes about an hour or so to get to the top. If you go back down the same way, then you could be back to the trailhead by 12pm. That's if everyone is ready to go up the mountain at 9am and there's no lolly gaggers holding the group up. If you try to go down the Indian Truck Trail way, then expect a way longer drive.

Oh and it's pretty much a one lane dirt road so be careful of oncoming traffic. Yeah a big group might take a while, especially with the dust limiting visibility.

I figure the meet-up time is at 9am and figure 15-30min later (roughly 9:30am) start the actual run?! It gives stragglers to start wandering in as well as airing down, a little bit of last minute planning, and misc stuff. Definitely there are 2x spots to take pictures at: 1) there is sort of a parking lot type area where the trucks can all back-in/line-up for photo ops and 2) at the peak!!!

Also, again, PLEASE watch out for one another!!! Meaning, keep sight of the vehicle in front of you and the vehicle behind you as there are, from what it sounds like, many who have NEVER done this trail before!!! There are some forks in the road along the way and exiting so one could easily take the wrong route!!!

Oh my goodness Randy. Chill out. We are all adults here...lol we will dicuss all of this at the trail head. No one is reading this most likely they probably all checked out on thursday and just count on us being there like we said. Or they would all be commenting here. Instead they come to check in and find 6 pages of bs with important content like you just posted but now gets ignored because most won't read through the 6 pages.

Bro, I'm not even going to go there!!! "I" was left behind ONCE (in this particular case, out in the desert) because people just alllllll of a sudden, wanted to floor the F'N PEDAL without ANY regard for other people!!! I get it, but NO BLOOD ON "MY" hands then!!!

That's why I said I would lead. I don't leave people behind and I always make sure the group is as close as needed for sight and contact purposes.

Boy I wished you were there that particular night!!! Out in the desert is NO F'N JOKE!!! Luckily, the people that "I" knew within the group realized that Nick (the Lovin) and I were missing, but that wasn't until they got back to camp?! So, yes, a "rescue party" came back, but that is besides the point. It was pretty F'N LAME Jay and it should have never have ever happened in the first place!!! I'm just glad you feel the importance of keeping people together as some obviously don't!!!:fistbump::cheers:
