We've gone to the same dealer for all of our new vehicles. Our normal rep wasn't available, so we worked over the new guy... a young kid that never saw us coming

Sounds like the new kid > usual rep as far as dealmaking goes.

Went to the dealership today. Test drove 17 crew cab inferno trd Off road 4x4. Sticker was 38. Got them down to 34,500. My trade value they initially gave me was 21 for my 2015 Silverado 4x4 double cab with 64k miles. Got that trade value up to 25k. Still didn't make a deal cause I know I could sell my Silverado for 29. Walked on them. I want a Tacoma, but not that bad. I'm trying to sell mine first.

In March, I paid 33,800 (before tax, license) for my 2017 DCLB Off-Road. All dealers in CT wanted at least 37,500; Maureen at Toyota of Greenfield (MA) was great and worth the hour and a half drive

Wow some of you got some great deals. I live in Southern California and I paid $35,500 OTD for my 2017 TRD Sport DCSB 2WD. I went to several dealers looking for a color white but no luck. Then just so happens a dealer not too far from me just got one in. But they just wouldn't budge on the price. I usually walk away when I'm not too happy with the deal but it looks like I got a taste of my own medicine these guys are the ones walking away and just tells me good luck.

If you look at the link the in the post it shows that it is a 4x4 sport longbed with tech and JBL with a MSRP of $41,016. By telling him that he should only pay $32-33k without looking at the information he provided doesn't really help him much.

Just got my father a 2017 access cab 4x4 base with the utility package. There are no rear seats just a storage area and the bed looks like its a factory rhino line of some sort. $25,200

You will pay that difference in taxes when buying the Tacoma. When you trade in, your taxes are MUCH less.

I'm see $42000 list with a sale price of $5000 off
17 TRD OFF ROAD 4x4. It's tempting to trade in my 16 TRD SPORT 2WD equipped the same.

TRD OR, 4x4, AT, DCSB, add ons were tow package, and floor mats.

Edit: to clarify, no P&T package. Thought it to be useless.

Nice. Saw your old build. I was in Alaska and saw those fish :). Currently have a 2008 2.7 regular cab. Had a 2012 dcsb and missed the power and back seat. Thinking about a 4x4, v6, double cab, long bed, SR5 with Nav/towing. MSRP 36,140.

I just went through your configuration and its like 3.8k off MSRP :). Who was the guy you worked with?

John at Freeman Toyota. He's their internet manager. One email and he'll give you their lowest price, no haggling. MSRP was 37.0, OTD was 33.0
