well, this is gonna be fun. Ive got rallycross events today and tomorrow and my insomnia kicked in hardcore last night. hopefully ill be able to sleep a bit tonight so i can at least be 100% for one day

 

Yup. It is associated with the phone so once you sign in with your google account it is active. I'll be looking for a first gen Pixel when the new ones come out next month. Also, as long as the photo is uploaded from the Pixel, it's free. Doesn't have to be taken from the phone. So you could transfer photos to the pixel and upload under the terms of free storage. My plan anyway

 

Been digging my Note 8 pretty good so far.

 

Plan on keeping my 6s until the battery takes a shit, (Which isn't very long ) but it's paid for and I can't stand making cell phone "payments"

 

My IPhone 5s shot crap 3 weeks ago. I was wanting to wait until I could get one of the new ones this fall, but it was failing on me. I got a 7+.

I had my 5s for a long time, but I took it somewhere a year or so ago and had a new battery put in it, I think it was $50.

 

We just switched from Verizon to Sprint and the first year of unlimited data is free since we brought out iPhones over paid off. I'm good with a $7/mo cell bill for the next year to cover taxes/fees on her 6s and my 7plus

 

Up here it's called a "section 12" for 72hr psych commit and "section 35" for substance involantary commit. We get a lot of those in our demographic.

my first Iphone i ran for 3 years but by the end it was really limping along. These new phone payments through ATT are kind of annoying but they are Zero Interest so thats something... i did prefer the pay 200$ and lock in for 2 yrs instead, worked out better for me it seemed, like $500 less over 2 years, but thats how phone companies have decided to raise the bill while telling you your getting a deal!

 

I'm not a fan of the paying monthly payments on a phone either, at all. I'd much rather pay the $200 and do the contract. You used to get a great deal for an upgrade, now you don't get squat.

I've had really good luck buying a used, 1 year old phone. I can get a lot for $300. I do the prepay program. I have auto pay thru my discover card. I have had zero issues with verizon going this way. Fuck paying them $800 for a new phone and not getting shit for it in 2 years.

Like Zac mentioned, the new phones will be released in the next 30-60 days. I don't need a new phone, but if a deal pops up, I'll grab one to have as a spare.
