Nice! Who all was there? I only see two trucks. :notsure: For some reason I was thinking there was going to be a gathering there today.

We should do a Musterground Rd run sometime. It was pretty fun, tame at first, then picked up a lot as you get up the mountain. There's a gate at the NC SC border. Figured out if the gate is unlocked you can go all the way through to Gorges SP in NC. If not you have about a 1/4 mile drive in reverse on a skinny road. I didn't think to see if it was unlocked until I talked to a guy on the way out who said they don't always lock it... o_O :bananadead:

We talking a bonfire in a field? Cause I haven't done one of those in a long, long time. Could be a lot of fun! Big circle of Tacos around a bonfire and a few cases of beer.

Anybody know of a legitimate localish organization that I can donate A LOT of unexpired medical supplies to?

Yes I've found some places but I just don't know that my stuff will not sit on a shelf until it expires. I want this stuff to get used and am looking for recommendations. If you are part of a church (or know somebody who is) that does medical missions overseas or CONUS...please let me know!

Cool! I've always believed that's where @Matic has been talking about where her refers to the 4x4 area.

Yeah, it's fairly 2wd friendly until you get past the big pipes that go over the river. The climbs are mostly what makes it need 4wd. All in all a fun ride. I plan to do it again soon.

^^^ Oh, and there were a lot of downed trees with limbs everywhere from the storm. I stopped several times to remove branches that got stuck under the truck.

Thanks! It's mainly pediatric supplies like tracheotomy tubes, suction catheters, suction canisters, tracheotomy care kits, etc. It's a lot of the same stuff...we just have so much more than we can use.

Man, after THR surgery, if I never hear the word catheter again I'll be just fine. :anonymous:

In all seriousness, I hope this stuff goes to a worthy home.
