dont understand why anyone would spray that shit into their frame. nearly impossible to get out, holds moisture causing rust and the completely wrong product.

Agreed! I think this was done on the advice of someone else. I'd be pissed.

Great Stuff is polyurethane-based which is the same stuff used to waterproof your basement or cellar when the walls are cracked.

Just to add -- Great Stuff is "closed cell" polyurethane foam that is non-corrosive to metals. Your Tacoma frame has much greater rust threats to worry about.

but won't it trap moisture in the frame? I would think that water can evaporate inside the frame if that insulation isn't there

The same shit everyone else has.
Wash it. You can usually get 2 washes outta it before it falls apart. Use a lil laundry soap and soak it for an hour or so in the wash tub then rinse it. Itll be like new and smell better than new.

I accomplished all kinda shit today.

Replaced the broken wheel speed sensor with an aftermarket on off of Amazon. Light turned off. ABS working again. I re-calibrated the VCS after replacing it.

Sorted out the rubber trim around the shifter for my TRD knob.

Looks way better than anything else Ive seen on here. I used 2 rubber grommets, then split em in half. Looks much more finished than just a neoprene washer.

Finally sorted out the awning situation. I added 3 loops to the one side of the awning and made a shock cord pole to sit in the loops. The awning has the ability to sit on the back of the Supertop to add cover over the tailgate and be mounted off the side of the roof rack.

The awning sits in place and used 2 bungee cords to keep in secure.

    Wait for it...
Replaced the much needed u-joints & center support bearing. After working all day it was quite the P.I.T.A. until a buddy helped out. 4 hands are better than 2 ESPECIALLY in a time crunch. Rock Auto dot com to the rescue.Capture+_2017-09-16-21-07-08.jpg
