    Hopefully between you all, you have the basics and can keep moving forward.

    Me (personally), as long as I can get a shower or a bath and can get to sleep at night, I can make due. We use to lose power every winter up in NorCal. But we weren't very high tech and could go for weeks off grid. That's a little harder to do here in suburbia.

    I will go take a picture of what I have and try to describe in non sparky terms what I wanted to do but was told know you cant. Just got back from MD RenFaire 3 hours of walking and cane use yeah not moving much the rest of the evening. I have not bought a transfer switch as I think I can do what I want legally I just think a lot of the Sparkys around here want to make a weeks pay for a 2 day pay job . I figured parts plus 400 should cover it but the all start 950-1100 bucks to have an outlet and transfer switch put in. Currently my whole place is electric so I just run a cord to my water pump under the house and two into the house from the yard for basics fridge , freezer , fans to move the heat from the little buddy heaters and coffee maker . :}

    Now that looks AWESOME!

    I'm hungry, waiting on smoker it is a slow way to cook when it is past your dinner time unless you start real early.

    I will do better health wise tomorrow going with chik'n on a stick. No bacon. But going to see what I can do to make it edible.
