Light went out in the Tachometer so I went to LED. Chose purple because I haven't seen anyone else do all purple. I ordered some neowedge T4 purple from Amazon that did not fit for the climate controls but everything else turned out well. Will need to Order some different bulbs for the climate control.

Make sure to grab a switch and wire them up! This was probably one of my first mods. The small swivel mirrors were not cutting it.

No electronics in my interior. :notsure: I'm going to keep everything manual - electric windows and mirrors are nice, don't get me wrong. That said I can't remember the last time I adjusted my sideview mirrors on my 2nd gen with manual mirrors. Some guys like @BartMaster1234 are going with everything electric. For me for whatever reason I tend prefer to have everything manual - and it's weird because I have no problem soldering and know that in many cases electric motors and wires fail less often than their mechanical counterparts. Guess I'm trying to save money for shocks and such and that's making me try to keep the cost down on interior mods too.

Looks bomb! Take any pics of the install? I can solder no problem, however this always seems intimidating to me - guess I have yet to see a thorough walkthrough.

It's super easy. Trickiest part is making sure the polarity of the bulb is right. No soldering required, just unplug one bulb and plug in new LED bulb

Installed frost king throughout the floors and back wall of my cab. My wife was a big assist, doing all the cutting for me. I'll tackle the doors and roof tomorrow. Looking at the picture, it seems like I might be trying to protect myself from alien rays!! Also got the feet fabbed and welded to my new passenger seat, heated, leather, 6 way power, from a BMW and they are gray too. The seats turned into more of a project than I had hoped, but I think I am on the down hill side of that. Fabrication was easy, the electronics were a bitch. Basically, I am lobotomizing the memory and the connection to the central computer, and creating basic dumb seats. Passenger was a piece of cake, as it was already dumb. But I had to find to find a European (right hand drive) "passenger" seat switch to replace the drivers memory one. Thank goodness for eBay on that one.

It's been a couple years since I changed mine. I want to say my 02 took (4) 194 bulbs. The hvac took another type of bulb
