Yeah, but to use that campfire pot, you'll first need to plug in and use one of these- Oh..never mind!

I've had the same problem. My 12 cup pot trips the circuit but I have a 4 cup pot that works good.

Basic math tells me that 900 watts > 400 watts.

Get a French press and boil water on the stove.

And since you are camping, get off the computer and enjoy the outdoors :)

Those outlets aren't good for much more than charging a cell phone.

Don't disagree with your advice, but let's at least give him credit for camping.

Instant coffee. You can mix and drink it cold and get the same effect.

French Presses and Percolators?! What's wrong with you guys, are you baristas or truck drivers!? Get a pot of water boiling on your campfire, run over your bag of foofoo whole beans a couple of times with your truck, scrape it up off the dirt with your shovel, and dump it in the boiling water for anout 5 minutes. That's COWBOY COFFEE, just like the words say.

The only thing you should be using that bed outlet for is for making manly drinks with your blender! :)

A Coleman stove to boil water and a French press is all you need.

We've started using Starbucks' Via stuff when camping - light weight, low volume, and no grounds to clean up afterwards. Just boil some water on the stove.
