Evening all. Nice weather, got alot of work done, still more tomorrow. Heading out for some Chinese food tonight, I always end up in a food coma, which is not a bad thing.

Oh hey @TownvilleTim I saw some cool looking pens at the renfaire today well cool to me and cool from a distance lol I think I could have put them together better and I don't even know how . The head piece crooked or drilled into the lower barrel offset , gaps etc was going to take a pic but it was to crowded in the vendor stall . Holy crap I googled to see if could find a representative pic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001O0AYQ...t=&hvlocphy=9007513&hvtargid=pla-275377237868 this one was on the table and look at the pic it is about the same LACK of quality the nose piece ??? not mating to the lower barrel cleanly

Well once the wait was over, I was OK. Took awhile. But as Kevin would say Food coma. Or a lady I once cooked for would say foodgasm.

Used up some home made bacon tonight.

Top grate steak at 110* ready to pull and sear.

If your going to sear might as well sear the hell out of it. Sitting there right on top of hardwood lump. Meat. Fire. No grate needed.

    Lower Grate

Lot of food for one person. Be eating good the rest of the week

    And did tonight

    Homemade bacon for desert

Yeah it turned out OK :D

So, how long did the corn take in the smoker? Had seen in done in a gaser wrapped in foil over an hour or so. But they said to turn it every 10mins.

Went to the Big-E yesterday.(Eastern states Expo to non- New England peeps)
Got there when they opened up and was out by early afternoon, beating the large crowds.
Still in a food coma with all that deep fried goodness.

Whole house gen sets with automatic transfer switches certainly is another option available. My set up is to power up a few dedicated circuits economically using a small generator and actually adding electrical capacity to the system with the subpanel when on normal power. Meets NEC codes and passes inspection.
