Orange County CAF's: up to no good

for sure. They used thicker gauge aluminum in the older boats. I looked at new boats at the outdoor expo recently and they are paper thin. 1968-1980 is the ideal time frame. IMO

 

thanks for posting this. Just put my RTT on and it's half the height of yours. Was curious how it'd handle on trails, but looks like it won't be a problem at all

 

mine is a perfect height for, not to tall and not to short. Tall enough so I can reach in and grab whatever crap I need, and still low enough I can still properly use the rear view mirror with the gap that exists from top of the spare tire and the bottom of the RTT

 

Ya I have no rear view mirror anymore. I think I should have enough room to reach around inside though

I had them, good until you need to clean under them. Doesn't really make the wind noise quieter or really help during the rain. Still drip into cab.

 

Good to know. I hate the dripping in the cab.
