    So what gears are you running now, and what will you regear to? I've got 33's on my taco and can't imagine going any larger than that and being able to get anywhere with any uphill on it at all, and I'm running an s/c'd engine!.

    As others have said, you want to be able to air down for off-road more. General idea on cars is don't go more than 2" larger on rims than factory, so really going up to 18 or 19 inch rims would be all you want.

    Nothing says you can't have 2 sets of wheels though. Get 20s with a milder more street rated set of tires for daily driver, and have the second set of 16-18 inch rims with aggressive tires for going out to play.

    While you may be supercharged, he has the v8 with more low end torque. If I'm mot mistaken, I think that generation of land cruiser has the 4.7 liter.

    Stock is 4.10's and ill be going as low as I can which is 5.29's. Its actually not terrible, feels like a taco with 34/35's on stock gears.

    Honestly it wouldn't piss me off so much if they actually made ANYTHING better. This has to be the slowest build of a rail system since the 1800's. to take the bus from my house to work takes 75 minutes, if I drive it takes 20. The return trip is 70-90 minutes on bus, 30-60 if I drive. How is that any incentive to not drive?
