    Maybe I missed it but what are trying to change? I was able to change the temp readout on the mirror to Fahrenheit with no problem.

    Boy, this thread has everything. Mathmatics, politics, science, mechanical engineering, carpentry...this rabbits been chased all over (well, at least all over our friends north of the border.)

    Reminds me of the old joke about the sporting goods salesman that made a $20,000 sale to one man. His boss asked him how it happened. He said, "well, first I sold him some lures then a new rod and reel, some waders, a minnow bucket, a tackle box, stuff to put in the tackle bos, a net, a stringer, and I finished it off by selling him a boat and trolling motor." The boss, said "that's a pretty good sale to a guy that came in to buy a fishing lure." The salesman replied, "oh, he didn't come in to buy a fishing lure. He came in looking for Kotex and I said, since you're not doing anything this weekend, you should go fishing..."

    In the picture I started this thread with the temperature used for the climate control in the cabin is set in Celsius in my truck vs Fahrenheit like most other vehicles. I'm trying switch it to Fahrenheit but apparently nobody knows how.

    Mine is in the mirror and was actually quite simple to change.
    Hope you find the solution.
    Merry Christmas!

    Was there ever a fix to this as I just ran into this myself (Truck from Canada)? I have checked all other settings on dash and mirror. Outside temp in degrees F, miles in mph, and climate control temp in degrees C. Or is this a dealership convo?

    Really? American? It's English... where both our founding fathers came from. Most Canadians still use English units daily like feet, yards, inches, pounds, cups, and teaspoons. Some old farmers still use rods and chains!

    I'd have to say that Texans, for the most part, stand firmly against him the metric system. However, there are some Houston Astro fans that are now measuring distance in "Altuves."

    I used Celsius for years. Went back to Fahrenheit cause it is more human sense.
    0=very cold
    100= very hot

    I think a scale where zero is the point that water freezes makes more sense than 32 but hey whatever floats your boat

    You ever figure this out? I just bought a canadian model. It does seem odd that outside temp is in F and the speedometer is MPH, but interior is C.

    So yes, Celsius was adopted by the metric system fairly recently. I stand corrected... centigrade is not French. That doesn't change my opinion of it however. Where I live the Fahrenheit system makes good sense to me. Winter ranges from 0 to 50 and summer from 50 to 100. Also, at 0 F, salt is no longer effective on iced roads because salt brine freezes a 0 F.
    To each their own.
